Riders of the Lost Trail has teamed up with the popular ‘El Gecko’ hotel, based in Estacion de Cortes de La Frontera, and right next door to our base where our bikes and riding gear are located.

The El Gecko is a beautiful rural hotel with all the facilities to cater for you after a great day’s riding. The hotel has eight good sized rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Customers are catered for with a full Mediterranean menu in the restaurant. Behind the bar, you will find either Bill or Maxine who own the hotel, and who create a really relaxed atmosphere and who will be ready to serve you that well earned ‘after ride’ beer.

The hotel has the obligatory swimming pool to cool off in, in the warmer months.

All tours that are for more than one day’s riding, will involve a stay at the hotel. A continental breakfast is included in your stay and we generally kick off the day over a coffee in the morning whilst going through an informal briefing of the day ahead.
